from wikiHow  The How to Manual That You Can Edit
Have you accidentally been redirected to a porn site, and do not want your boy girlfriend to find out about it? This article is perfect for you if you would like to clear your internet history on an iMac.

Open your internet application. This can be done by double clicking the internet icon, or by clicking the icon on the application toolbar.
Find History on the toolbar. On most applications, it should be the fifth option on the bar.
Click History once. You will see a few options, and an entire list of pages you have visited within the past month. At the bottom of the list, there is an option to clear all history. Click this option once.
Check the history option on the toolbar to make sure that your internet history was successfully deleted. If the history remains, repeat the process.

It is good to clear your internet history every few days, even if you have not gone to any bad sites. This helps the internet run faster.
If you want to erase every trace of your browsing purchase a good piece of privacy software such as Netshred.

If you use this often because you regularly go on naughty sites, it might not be the best idea. The person your hiding it from will eventually find out.
